Exchange 2010 (3/4 Year Experience Required)

Sharepoint Server 2013 (2/3 Year Experience)

SQL Server 2012 (3/4 Year Experience)

SOTI MobiControl (Added Advantage)

Pathview (Added Advantage)

Helpdesk (Must be comfortable working in a Helpdesk Environment and adhering to Change Control)

Riverbed Steelheads (Added Advantage)

GFI Events Manager (Added Advantage)

Event Sentry (Added Advantage)

WLAN, LAN, VLAN, Switching and Routing (Must have good working knowledge)

McAfee EPo (Added Advantage)

Mimecast (Added Advantage)

Trend Anti-Virus (Added Advantage)

VMWare vSphere with VSAN (2-3 Year Experience on a Production Version)

Veeam Backup and Replication (Added Advantage)

Qualifications & Experience

Current MCSE with 3-4 Years Practical Experience

Support

Provide support in resolving infrastructure problems either directly on site, remote dial in support or via telephone for all regions (Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Durban, Johannesburg)

Upgrade and configure network equipment (servers, hubs, switches) for all the regional networks

Support Outsourced Services (VPN etc.)

Manage Helpdesk Requests and ensure the necessary follow-up in order to resolve issues

Maintain the Active Directory Environment (Policies etc.)

Automation of Administrative functions

Input to Incident Management and Problem Management

Input to Configuration Management, Change Management and Release Management

 

Documentation

Maintain the Hardware & Software Asset Registers

Maintain the Software & Hardware Maintenance Registers

Maintain, implement and publish policies / procedures / documentation (Email Usage, Web & Mail Filtering etc.)

Maintain adequate administrative procedures & checks

Maintain policies and procedures relating to the helpdesk function

Report to the Facilities Manager, Weekly meetings, Planning Schedules and Regular reports

 

Procurement

Input to the IT Budget & Presentations

Motivate & Procure Hardware & Software

 

Performance & Capacity Management

Ensuring that systems are up to date with current technologies

Ensuring optimal system performance

Proactive monitoring & management of all infrastructure

Input to Capacity Management and Availability Management

Ensure that all requirements for IT Audits are satisfied
